I designed some custom bed stiffeners for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma in Onshape. I then had them cut, bent, and powder coated by SendCutSend.
I created an engineering drawing to for practice, though it was not used for the project.

In the Truck Bed
these stiffeners serve two purposes.
1. Give the lateral walls of the bed stiffness so are less likely to bend from the load from the canopy and rooftop tent
2. Provide a mounting point for my Bed Frame build. The slots in the stiffener are designed so I can bolt it to the Frame to proved both forward/aft and lateral constraints.
