As I work on building out my woodworking shop I decided on keeping with a minimalist 2.5" dust collection system. This design is based on IzzySwan's 4" QuickLox System which, unfortunately, does not come in other sizes.

This was a great exercise to learn which features (chamfers, fillets, hole size/threading, etc.) were necessary and which were redundant. I could likely minimize the features used on this prototype but since I am not worried about DFM I am comfortable with where I have landed.

Parts include three 3D printed pieces, three shoulder screws, three lock nuts, three set screws and a 3mm 35 kg/m3 EVA foam gasket/seal.

I modeled this part in OnShape and printed on my Tronyx Crux1 3D Printer.
